Objective

To model bracket in NX according to drawing provided.

Introduction

Sheet metal components mainly use as casing, enclosures or brackets. One such bracket has to be modelled in NX.

Design methodology / approach (To be explained with the help of Flowcharts only)

Description (Need to explain tools/ Features used while designing)

Sketch the profile of bracket to extrude as contour flange

Sketch is drawn for creating profile of bracket

Then normal cutout is used to cut different holes provided in the drawing

External profile is cut using normal cut

Unbend

Holes are created by normal cutout

Fillet is provided at various places using break corner

Advance flange is used to create flanges at circular section

Rebend

Gussets are created
