Advanced Sheet Metal Design Using NX Cad Challenge_6_Bracket
Title of the Project: Advanced Sheet Metal Design Using NX Cad Challenge_6_Bracket
Objective: To design the given bracket using NX sheet metal application.
Introduction: Sheet Metal Fabrication is the process of forming parts from a metal sheet by punching, cutting, stamping, and bending.
3D CAD files are converted into machine code, which controls a machine to precisely cut and form the sheets into the final part.
Design methodology / approach:

Description :
- Sketch: Used to make 2D designs and the basic structure of any 3D model.
- Tab: Used to make a base sheet metal shape on which further features are added.
- Contour Flanges:Used to make a flange along a curve or sketch.
- Normal Cutout: Used to create a cutout normal to the sheet metal according to the sketch.
- Bend: Used to create a bend of any angle along lines created on the base.
- Break corners: Used to create fillets at any of the corners.
- Bead: Used to add strength to the sheet metal.
- Hole: Used to create holes at predefined points on the sheet metal

Conclusion: The given sheet metal part was successfully made in NX sheet metal using the respective features.
