ODD ENCLOSURE

OBJECTIVE:

Modeling sheet metal component by using nx-cad with proper dimension .

INTRODUCTION:

What going to be in this report was how to create a odd enclosure with various design tool by using nx-cad.

DESIGN METHODOLOGY:

CREATE A SOLID BODY

CONVERT SOLID BOBY INTO SHEET METAL

UNBEND-ADD FEATURES-REBEND

CREATE A FLAT PATTERN

Extrude- This commend used to convert 2D sketch into 3D model.

Sheet metal from solid boby- This commend used to convert solid body in sheet metal by ripping the edge.

Flange-use to simplify a process and get required shape.

Jog-one of coolest tool to use to get non-unifrom bends.

Unbend- This commend use to create a complex features in sheet metal by unfold.

Bead- Lift material along the contour of a sketch that simulates a stamping tool.

Hole- Its used to create a hole in the sheet metal.

Rebend- It used to fold the material to get formal shape.

Flat pattern-used to get 2D view for detailing.
