3D Creation of Celing, Roof, Architectural plan, Structural plan, Sectional view, Elevation view and Camera specific view for a house plan using REVIT

1) Based on the project saved from Week 3, proceed from the First Floor Level. Model a Ceiling from the architecture tab above the walls at the first-floor level?

Ans- Aim -Model a ceiling at first fllor level-For this first go to Architecture tab and then going to ceiling tab and choose ceiling porperties and select area and press ok.

2) Model a roof above the ceiling by selecting the footprints of the ceiling. Using the adjustment toolbars appearing on-screen adjust the roof slope to 10 degrees?

Ans- Aim-Model a roof- Go to Architecture tab and then roof then select roof by footfrint then choose roof properties and then pick wall option and picked wall if i want projection then edit and enter projection dimension and and also in properties browser enter slope 10degree and enter ok.

3) Using the file saved from weeks 2 to 4, create plan views for ground floor level and first-floor level including all the walls, floors, and components. Separate them to
architecture and structural plans?

Ans-Architecture Plan-Go to view tab and going pan view and then floor plan and select ground floor then ok

Structural Plan- Again go to view tab then plan view then select structural plan and then select floor then ok

4) Using annotate toolbar add dimensions to all the walls and floors with reference to the longitudinal and transverse grids created in the project file?

Ans- Aim-Architucture plan Dimension- First go annotate tab and choose linear or alinged and select properties and then select refrence point and click alongside .

Aim- Structure Plan Dimension-Again go to anotate tab and select liner dimension and select properties then select refrence point and enter.

5) Create a sheet template from the view tab and adjust the parameters on the sheet to add appropriate views"

Go to view tab and then sheet then choose paper parameter and then click , apppear sheet add all parameter and name & title this sheet and then click any plan view and drag in sheet ant set.

6) Using the elevation tab create the elevation views, looking at your building from East, North, South, and West ?

Aim -Creating Elevation view- If elevation view is not showing in project browser then go to view tab and then elevation and placed views.

for North view- go to project browser and then go to elevation view and then click north view

west view-

7) Produce section cut through each room either cutting across longitudinally or in a transverse direction?

Aim- Section view- go to view tab and then section and click refrence poin then create section view and rename view.

8) Classify the views, Plan Views, Section Views, and Elevation views to either Design or Documentation category using Properties browser.

Aim- Classify View- Project Browser-

A-Structural Plan-1) Ground Floor, 2) First Floor

B-Architectural Plan- 1) Ground Floor, 2) First Floor

C-Ceiling Plan- 1) Ground Floor, 2) First Floor

D- 3D View- Bedroom 1 view, Bedroom 2 View, Dining room view, Living room view, Kitchen room View

E- Elevation View-North,south,East,West

F- Section View- Front View, kitchen section, room 1, Transverse Section

G- Legends

H- Schedule/Qyantity

I- Sheet- A101,A102,A103,A201,A202 ets

J- Families

K- Group

9) Using the sheet template produced create multiple sheets as follows?

Aim-

a. A 101- Ground Floor Architecture Plan

b. A 102- First Floor Architecture Plan

c. A 103- Roof Plan

d. S 101- Ground Floor Structural Plan

e. S 102- First Floor Structural Plan

g. A-201- North-South Elevations

h. A-202- East-West Elevations

10) Create a camera-specific view or a 3D view in each room ( living, dining, bedroom). Based on the views create a new set of sheets starting A-501 (you can add as many sheets after, 502, 503.. n)to place the 3D view images. Produce the sheets as a part of project drafting.

Aim- Camera Specific View- Go to view tab and then then 3D View and select camera and fix camera at appropiate place
