Industry Projects

Our projects are designed by experts in the industry to reflect industry standards. By working through our projects, Learners will gain a practical understanding of what they will take on at a larger-scale in the industry. In total, there are 2 Projects that are available in this program.

Build NFVi based on OpenStack

You are required to build NFVi based on OpenStack, make it accessible to the outside world, and establish reachability between the VMs. This project will illustrate OpenStack configuration and VNFs deployment similar to 4G/5G VNFs deployment.

To complete this project, you will have to:

  • Deploy OpenStack
  • Create Cirros image, Flavor and Network
  • Deploy a Router and attach interfaces to the Router
  • Deploy 2 Cirros VMs
  • Assign floating IPs to 2 VMs
  • Configure the security rules to perform SSH to the VMs using floating IPs
  • Configure the security rules to establish reachability between 2 VMs using ping

Deploy Cloud Native PaaS using Kubernetes

You will have to deploy a Cloud Native PaaS using Kubernetes and host a scalable web application using Kubernetes deployment. You will also manage your Kubernetes cluster and the workload using Lens. This project will illustrate Cloud Native PaaS and Applications deployment similar to 5G CNFs deployment.
