Here is a list of 6 Computer Science Engineering projects that were taken up by a few of our students in the past. You can also take these up during your coursework to upskill yourself. 

• The Complete Frontend Development

Bhushan Borde, one of our students, has completed a project on Frontend Development in the recent past. He learned all the skills and gained immense knowledge in creating responsive and interactive web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The student have also learned to work with various web development tools and frameworks.

• Creating a Scientific Calculator Using Java Language and Swing Concept

One of our students, Shubham Uike took up the project of creating a scientific calculator with Java and Swing concepts. The project required the student to know the Java programming language, Swing programming concept, and Intelli IDE. Shubham learned how to create a scientific calculator using Java programming, and the Swing user interface toolkit successfully built his first calculator. This project involved designing and implementing the graphical user interface (GUI) and programming the mathematical functions and calculations required for a scientific calculator. 

• Designing a Hospital Management system

Abhinaya Kumar, one of our students, took up the Design a Hospital Management System project. He has learned to design and develop a software solution for managing hospital operations. He developed a system with robust features, including patient management, appointment scheduling, billing, and inventory management.

• Data Cleaning and Transformation using Pivot Tables and Charts

Geethanjali Sangem, a Skill-Lync student, learned how to clean and transform data using Pivot tables and charts for a report on team hiring requirement. She developed a system for analyzing data and present it in a visually appealing and easily understandable format using tools such as Excel.

• C2C E-Commerce User’s Behaviour Analysis

Analyzing user behavior is one of the important roles of a data scientist. Our student Ashfaq Ali, while pursuing a course in data science, decided to build an algorithm for analyzing user data. He made use of te SQL command and successfully analyzed the behavior pattern of male users of a C2C E-Commerce platform. He utilized techniques like data cleaning, data visualization, data collection, clustering, and mining.

• English Dictionary App & Library Book Management System

One of Skill-Lync’s students, Affrin Kajana, with skills in Java and SQL, UI/UX design, database management, and software development methodologies, developed an English Dictionary App. The app she created can generate a prompt response for the word typed in by the user. She utilized SQLite for backend data base management for designing the library management systems.

• Predicting Heart Disease Using Machine Learning Algorithm

Aniket Yadav, a Skill-Lync student, learned to build a machine learning model to predict whether a patient has heart disease. He gained skills in data preprocessing, feature engineering, model selection, and evaluation. He also learned to use popular machine learning algorithms like logistic regression, decision trees, and support vector machines.

• Early Warning System

Rathish TJ, a Skill-Lync student, learned to develop an early warning system using machine learning algorithms to predict manufacturing system failures. He performed tasks like data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing, as well as in feature selection and model development using algorithms like decision trees and random forests. He also learned to use tools like AWS and Jupyter Notebook.

• Image Filtering

Epuri Yoga Narasimha, a Skill-Lync student, learned image filtering techniques to enhance images in his CSE project. He gained skills in convolution, different types of filters such as mean, median, and Gaussian, and image enhancement techniques like edge detection and sharpening. He also used Python libraries like OpenCV and Matplotlib for image processing and visualization.

• Measuring the Diameter of an Object within an Image

Mit Mehta, a Skill-Lync student, learned to develop a machine learning model to measure the diameter of an object in an image. He gained skills in image processing, feature extraction, and model development using algorithms like contour detection, Hough transform, and regression. He made use of the available Python libraries like OpenCV and scikit-learn for image processing and machine learning.
