The process of defining P- Clamp and Back shell as electric components is important in order to make it easier to use at multiple areas in assembly and its is also a best way to be done to provide clear input for further modifications.

If some connectors are used at multiple areas it will be a best practice to add them in catalog.

• Download the P-Clamp and from the supplier site.
• Create required geometrical parameters in part design.

1. entry point and exit point.
2. Entry plane, exit plane and base plane.

• Then move to electrical part design and define the part as 'define Support part' for both Entry and Exit.

• Download the Back shells and its related parts from the supplier site.
• Create required geometrical parameters in part design, like back shell connector point and axis.
• Then move to electrical part design and define the part as 'define Back shell'.
