Wiring harness routing & packaging Rules Week 3 Challenge

P Clamp:

For any clamp, there can be two entry and exit points.

Import the CAD model of the support in the part design workbench.

For defining those entry points, we need to create two entry and exit points and planes and a base reference plane in the mechanical part design workbench.

Moving into the electrical part design workbench, we define the CAD model as support with planes and points created.

BackShell:

Backshell is the rubber part attached to the back of the connector for protection purposes and aesthetically improve the appearance. It can be used considering the cost but not the mandatory part in the harnessing.

Import the CAD model of the back shell.

For a backshell, there should be a backshell connection point and bundle connection point defined.

for the backshell connection point, there should be a point with the axis system aligned properly. And for the bundle connection point, a point at the center is created.

In the Electrical part design workbench, Define the part as Backshell and then define the backshell and bundle connection point.
