Wiring harness design in CATIA V5 - 3D modeling Week 4 Challenge

Week 4 Answer:-

Route the following harness layout in Electrical workbench. Here Make assumption for harness bundle diameters are 15 mm . Use Following connectors as shown in layout diagram.

Here Add protective covering on all branches connected to connectors and Keeping end extremity at 30mm (from connectors end) and here use pvc and cotten insulation tape.

In this challange download connectors which show in question and define them electrically.

After Doing that we create sketch for reference which show in Question of week 4 challange.

this tpye of sketch shown in catia v5 workbench.

here show the sketch and place connectors accordingly to show in images.

after doing that switch electrical harness workbench and make sure the assembly of that geometrical bundle then after added a brachies according to sketch here we use diameter of 15 bundle use.

after that have to add multibrachable in assembly to start routing otherwise its not possible.

here show multi-branchable added in model tree.

After doing this all process start route defination which show in tutorial videos of course.Using same process which follows in videos.

If bundle branch not proper in these case change direction of tangent.

same process follow and make all connectors join with together.for join add other branch add branch point which show in fig or see question diagram.

Here showing 2 branchpoint in main bundle and one branch point added in sub multi brach which shown in images.

After complete all process now adding protecction covering in all branches and here use of pvc and cotten tape adding in the assembly and make Keep start and end extremity 30 mm.

here in above image shows tape parameters in model tree of assembly .attach all connectors files and all neccesary file.
