QUESTION:

      Rout the following harness in electrical workbench.make assumption for harness bundle diametres.use following connectors as shown in layout digram.

                       

      Add protective covering for all branches connected to DT06-2S and DT06-4S connectors

      keep end extrimity at 30mm from connector end

• CREATION OF CATALOG

          first create the catalog for connectors and corrugated tubes

          create a family for connectors

          create a family for corrugated tube

        save the file in appropriate folder.

• Download the required file from www.te.com and convert to electrical part.

         DT06-4S

         create reference point for bundle entry and  connector connection point also create an axis system at connector connection point

         

         

        switch to electrical part work bench and define it as connector

        define connector connection point and bundle connection point

        save file and add to the connector catalog

       

       DTO6-6S

       create reference point for bundle entry and  connector connection point also create an axis system at connector connection point

       

       

       switch to electrical part work bench and define it as connector

       

       define connector connection point and bundle connection point

       

       

      save file and add to the connector catalog

       

      DT06-2S

     create reference point for bundle entry and  connector connection point also create an axis system at connector connection point

• Creation of corrugated tube for protection

      store inside the catalog created for corrugated tube

• Once parts are electrically define create an product file and add nesessary parts

       convert assembly into electrical harness assembly

        arrange the connectors in desired location with reference to the given data

         

        go to branch defeniton and create branch by assuming the wire dia 10mm

         

         create brnaching point

         

          also create branches between other connector here   assume dia 8 mm

         

         

         

         

        add corrugated tube for protection ,here corrugated tube of 15 mm dia is used

         

        keep end extimity 30mm from connector
