OBJECTIVE

To select a suitable car for Mr.D.S Pughazhyendii considering the all factor.

CASE

MR.D.S. Pughazhyendhii lives in bangalore which is a crowded city his family consist of his wife,son,mother and father.They take a frequent trip to their native in madhurai which is 500kms away from bangalore.pughazhyendhii is a font of big cars.He wants to buy a car between 8-10 lack price range.

BENCH-MARKING

Benchmarking is a process where you measure your company’s success against other similar companies to discover if there is a gap in performance that can be closed by improving your performance.Studying other companies can highlight what it takes to enhance your company’s efficiency and become a bigger player in your industry.

Benchmarking is a simple,but detailed,five -step process.

1. Choose a product , service , or nternal department to benchmark.
2. Determine which best -in-class companies you should benchmarking against, which organizations you will comapre your business to.
3. Gather information on therir internal performance,or matrics.
4. compare the data from both organizations to identify gaps n your company's performance.
5. adpot the processes and policies in place within the best-in-class performers.

Three primary classification of Benchmaking.

• INTERNAL BENCHMARKING:Is used when a company already has established and proven best practices and they smply need to share them.internal benchmarking also may be necessary if comparable industries are not readyly available.
• COMPETITIVE BENCHMARKING: is used when a company wnats to evaluate its position wthn its when a company needs to identfy industry leadership performance targets.
• STRATEGIC BENCCHMARKING:is used when identifying and analysng world-class performance.Ths form of benchmarking is used most a company needs to go outside of its industry.

In this case by considering the requirement, we are bench-marking 4 different cars from different company.

CONCLUSION

I would like to suggest tata nexon. Tata nexon is a sports car utility vehicle which gives high performance. All the safety features are good when compare with other cars. It is an SUV segment, So I suggest tata nexon.
