Preparation Of Harness Assembly

As we are done with wiring harness component design , it time to prepare product assembly for given harness.

Wiring Harness Product Assembly Contains:-

• The Harness Context Assembly:- This is the top level product file that contains the harness geometrical bundel/assembly and the wire harness electrical bundle.
• Geometrical Bundel:- This sub level product file is the wire harness product that contains all of the harness components that are clips,connectors,clamps,actual pysical bundel segment and branches.
• Electrical Bundel:- This sub level product file contains all of the electrical circuit information.

Before you can route the wiring harness you will need an electrically defined.Components to route the harness from ,an electrical harness connectors to route the harness to and also some electrical define harness connectors between to fix your harness route. Then we can create the electrical properties for given connectors.

Creating the Wire Harness Geometrical Bunde

Follow below steps to create geometrical bundle /harness assembly

• Create New Product File .First we can click on file next select the New and last select product
• Again change the product part number to" Assy_Geometrical_bundel".

1. When creating the wire harness bundle segment you are first required to insert the electrical components thats you need route the wire harness from and to.
2. Before you can route the wire harness you will need an electrical defined.
3. This data should be also be removed from your context assembly before saving.

• Switch to Electrical Harness Assembly Workbench icon.
• Then select Geometrical Bundel iocn. Then select product from model tree(what we are created) product icon in model tree is changed now and name changed "Geometrical Bundel"
• Our assembly is changed from mechanical assembly into electrical assembly.
• Next we click on bundel defination the multi branchable and publications are added to our assembly.
• You must now place each electrical part into its correct positioning the your geometrical bundle production file.
• There are five main function for moving and positioning the electrical wire harness components.Those are in assembly design workbench.

1) Mnipulation.

2) Translation & Rotaion

3) Snap

4) Smart Move

5) Compass

In our bundle harness assembly the diameter of bundel is 18mm.Then we click one bundel defination here we enter diameter is 18mm and bend ratio is 1.4 next click on slack parcentage is 0 .Then click route defination here we can select the first connector and click add after then select the another connector then click on reverse tangent and click ok.

Next step click on Add Brach Point then we select the at what distance to create the brach point in main branch.

Then we click on brach defination then we can click in diameter 8mm click route defination .

Here we can select the point and connetor.

Then click on aad brach point defination then we create branch point .

you now create the branch point with the lenght of 200mm .Then branch point is added in main branch .

Click on route defination separate window will be appeard then now we select the recently create the branch point and connector then click on reverse tangent.Then click ok.Simillarlly we can create the another connector also.

Now routing is completed and add the protection covering of our harness routing.

Protection Covering:- Then we click on the protrction covrering icon here seperate window will be displayed in right side book symbol is thre then click on icon select the what name we are stored the corrugated tubes in your device .

Here we can select the 20mmCOT tube this fix the exact position and perfect placement.Next we can select bundle segment.Then we can entred end extremity 30mm from the connector.

Next we can select the another 10mm cot tube then apply the reamining branch point .

Then our assembly is ready and click save.
