Week 9 - Project - A pillar Design with Master Section

Creation of Tooling Axis By Bisecting Method:

1. This is given Class-A.

2. Checking the quality of the surface by boundary command.

3. Class A with Master Section.

4. First create positioned sketch and project the two lines on the front view of master section and create a bisecting line with the two lines.

5. Then crete another sketch and create projection lines on the side view of master section and create the bisecting line with that two lines.

6. Then after creating the two line then create a bisecting line between the two line and finally this is our tooling axis make it thick and brighter to make it more visible.

Draft Analysis on Class-A:

1. Change the surface of class A to material mode.

2. Click and drag the compass on the tooling axis and loct its position. Then click anywhere on the surface to start draft analysis. Here i used to give 1.5 degree max because we are going to give 1.5 degree draft on the outer side of dog house and we need to clear the outer surface of dog house with the main tooling axis.

3. Click on the invert draft surface to check the surface further.

Finished Class-B Surface:

Multi-Section View of Solid Component With Dog House:

Sketches with Iso-Constrained Status:

Draft Analysis on Solid Component:

1. Click and drag the compass on the tooling axis and click anywhere on the surface to start draft analysis. Here the GREEN color shows that the surface is more than 1.49 degree. Here i gave draft of 1.5 degree and there is some deviations on this that's why i given 1.49 degree and the dog house outer surface is clearing with this draft.

2. Click on inver draft surface to check further.

3. outer surface of dog house clearing with the tooling axis.
