Project - Analysis of a practical automotive wiring circuit

1.Battery, Starter, Generator, Ignition coil, Breaker, Distributor, Curret and voltage regulator

2.Battery purpose and working: A battery is a device that stores chemical energy and convert it to electrical energy. The chemical reaction involves the flow of electrons from one material to another, through an external circuit. The flow of electron provide an electric current that can be used to work.

Generator purpose and working: Generator is a machine which converts mechanical energy into electrical energy. It working on the principle of Faraday law of electromagnetic induction. Faradys law states that whenever a conductor is placed in a varying magnetic field, EMF is induced. Generator is used to supply power during a power outage.

Breaker purpose and working: Breaker is used to switch on and off of the equipment during normal operation for the purpose of maintenance and breaks the circuit during abnormal activities such as short circuiting, earthing to protect the equipment, during overcurrent/overload.

3.Fuse rating for 10A load is 15-20Amps

4.For 500W load the current and voltage capacity of battery is 45A/12V

5.Ignition coils and light switches are connected in parallel because in paralle connection every device has separate connection from the power source so they can operate independently without depending others. Irrespective of other devices everone should work on individual and this is why they are connected in parallel.

6.Generator and current and voltage regulator is connected in series. They are depending eachother if there is any break happens between them the other devices which are connected through this stops working.
