Week 9 - Project - A pillar Design with Master Section

Aim -

A Pillar Design With Master Section.

Description -

First i Check that class A surface for continity and gaps by using bondary command.

2. Then Create A Tooling Axis to do the draft analysis on class a Surface. By analysing the master section i create a bisecting line from dog house side wall lines wich clear all the surfaces

3 . Do the draft analysis by using this tooling axis. Kept the maximu draft value as 3 degree.

3. Then create a B surface by offeseting class A surface 2.5 mm. The value of thickness is measured from master section.

After Offeseting the class A surface 2.5mm it creates a patch wich i filled using sweep command

5. Then create a class c surface to join A and B Surface

6. Then join all A,B and C surface to create a solid body.

7. Then create a solid body by using closing surface command.

8. Then by using master section i create a dog house and ribs.

Extracted the required lines from master section to create a dog house and then ectrude it along the plan. Then extract the last boundary of dog house and ectrude it along the plae and then trim those two ectruded surface to create a dog house shell, thicken it to 2.5 mm (by measuring from master section.)

Then extract the middle ribs line and extrude it along the plane

And then trim it with the dpg house shell and then thicken it upto 1mm (measured from master section)

Then bu using unitrim command join all the solid surface together to form a complete assembly

Them given the fillets the edges of dog house as per measurement from mast section.

Then Do the draft analysis for solid body.

Sice it i not clearing dog house inner surface, so create a seerate tooling axis to dog house and do the draft analysis from that asis.
