Week 9 - Project 1 - Door Trim Lower with Engineering Features

This is our class A surface in which we did draft analysis then with the help of tooling axis then we try to make class B surface with the help of class A surface

Here we can see that we formed the class b surface with the help of class a surface we joined this class AB surface with the help of Class C surface and then we try to make the solid body and this body is made by the closet option here we can see that we formed solid surface then to make the engineering features like heat streaks and the locators we are considering the design rules

After making the solid surface we go to the part body where we create a sketch with the help of axis system then we pad the body for making heat stakes then with the help of tooling access then we trim both the part body and all these features are being made with the help of Boolean process and same process is done to make locators

Here we can clearly see the solid model of a lower door trim with the engineering features of heat streaks

Here we did the same process as we have done for heat stakes pading and other options

as we can see the locator point we have made so as to form the locators for the door trim as a engineering features

Here we use an option called power copy

this is our final draft analysis done to the final body .
