Week 9 - Project 1 - Door Applique Design with Engineering Features

Aim : To create the Door Applique Plastic component through the given Class-A surface

Procedure :

Step 1 : Check for any openings in the model using the boundary function.

Step 2 : Create a centre point.

Step 3 : Draw the tooling axis using line definition.

Step 4 : Perform Draft Analysis.

Step 5 : Then extract Class A surface.

Step 6 : Extrapolate the surface.

Step 7 : Create the C Surface for 2 boundaries seperately.

Step 8 : Join Class A and Class C Surface.

Step 9 : Fill the surface body using close surface feature.

Step 10 : Add Locators 4 Way and 2 Way to the door applique.

Step 11 : Add heat stakes to the door applique.

Step 12 : Assemble all the heat stakes.

Step 13 : Perform Draft Analysis to the final component.
