Week 9-Creation of 1D Connectors Challenge
Aim :
To create connectors to connect the given components by using Hyperworks software.
Objective :
To mesh and connect all the given components as it is asked to be connected and to connect the leftover by own.

Procedure :
- To import the model to the graphical workspace.
- Mesh on the components in 2D as it is given the target element size as 5 units.
- After completion of meshing connect every component step by step to create proper connection between all the components.
- The different type of connections used to connect the components is shown below.
Seam-Quad (angled + capped +L)

Quad elements.

Spot weld with 2 Layers and 5 mm Diameter.

Hexa (Adhesive).

Bolt Connector.

Spot-weld with Rigid Elements.

Spot-weld with Spring Elements.

The connectors are the components used to connect several components in a chain like structure. There are several types of connectors used in industry according to the needs and usage. Most commonly joints are bolt and nut joints, welded joints, adhesive joints, etc.
With help of these different connectors we combine different shape and different size components to get a final product component. So the connectors plays a important role in making a final component.
I have done few different types of connections as it is asked to perform and learnt about the different type of connection that can be done by using the Hyperworks software.
Result :
In the part of learning about the connectors menu I have performed few connections successfully using Hyperworks software and attached the model and images for reference.
