Week 9 - Challenge 1 - Base Bracket Design

Brief review of Draft analysis of class A & Final product.

First Tooling Axis creation:

For the creation of tooling axis we need to ensure that which are the direction of Machine pulling direction. for the base bracket part since the part has flate face and hole in it so it's best to assume normal to that surface. So, in the case it's Z Direction.

For the other two direction its quite too hard to produce the part.

Draft Analysis:

For the Draft analysis we have direction of the tooling axis. Now we need point of that tooling axis and part has hole on sloped surface. Thus centre of that hole became that point.

At intersection between the tooling axis and YZ plane became main sketch and that rib angle we start to draw line.

Both side has this line and bisecting of that line became the main Tooling axis.

Blue part shows negative degree,

Red part shows 0 to 3 degree,

Green part shows 3 and more degree.

Base Bracket Draft analysis shows Red part with 0-3 degree.

Here Green part shows Cavity and Blue shows Core and meting line of that both color became Parting line.
