Week 10 - Challenge 1- Attachment Feature Creation (Ribs & Screw Boss)

Hello,

Creation of Tooling Axis:

In this part body have dent (cavity in middle), we could not created Tooling axis in perpendicular direction i.e X or Z.

Thus Y direction become Tooling axis.

Draft Analysis of Class A Surface:

Red part, here 1 degree. we can't angle Tooling axis for the red portion of part. Because if we Angle in any direction than other part shown in back we change is degree. so Tooling axis has to perpendicular to part. Other part are green, means that portion has slop above 2 degree.

After Creating Ribs and screw:

This Ribs and screw boss can clear in one pass, no need for the side core or cavity.

Problem occure when creating rib for screw boss;

Cause screw boss is too near to it's representative surface. therefor I can not create rib there, So I have creat 3 supportive ribs each at 120 degree.
