Screw Boss Design

Design rules for creating screw boss:

• Draft of 0.5 degrees on boss.
• Thickness will be typically 40% of nominal wall at base.
• Height to diameter ratio is 3:1
• Radii is 0.25 maximum radii.

Draft Analysis report of screw boss

• Green color indicates the darft angle of 3 or more than 3 degrees.
• Blue color indicates draft angle of 0 to 2 degrees.
• Red Color indicates less than 0 degree which need to be rectified.

Dog House

Design rules of dog house creation:

• Height should be between 3 to 6 mm.
• Maximum doghouse width is 12 mm.
• 3:1 ratio of steel width to height, 2:1 is preffered.
• Maximum draft for dog house is 1.5 degree to die.

Draft Analysis Report:
