Screw boss and dog house design

Creation of screw boss:

Create a sketch and pad them and union trim to form the given screw boss.

Give the fillets required. The minimum fillet is 0.25mm.

To get the other boss just make translate along with the co-ordinates.

Creation of dog house:

Extract the base and create a point and draw a sketch.

make a sweep with the draft direction. The minimum draft angle is 1.5 degrees.

Need to close the surface. For that surface, un trim the extract and make an offset.

make trims to get the closed surface.

Go to the part body and give the thickness.

To remove the unwanted surface extract the surface of the sweep.

extrapolate and make an offset.

make a split with the part body to get the correct desgin.

To get the inside thickness for the dog house.

extract the sweep and make an offset of 1mm because the 2mm thickness and height of B should be 3mm to 6 mm. So let it be 4 mm.

make surface un trim an offset of 4mm.

extrapolate the sweep to get the correct outcome and make the trims required.

split with the part design to get the B and C.

give the fillets required and translate the screw boss on top of the dog house.

Draft Analysis:

For draft analysis, we require 2 axes. One tooling axis and side core axis.

with tooling axis.
