Week 8 - Challenge 4 - Coin Holder Design
Coin Holder design
Creation of tooling axis:
Extract the base and create a point on the base and insert an axis system. The other walls are perpendicular to each other so we can take a line on the point perpendicular to the surface which gives us the tooling axis.

creation of B surface:
Extract the base surfaces and surface un trim them and extrapolate and also make an offset of 2.5mm.

using trim

In a similar way, another part of the base. extract the surfaces and surface and un trim and extrapolate them.

finally, trim them and make the join.

Extract the walls and surface un trim and extrapolate them.

trim the surfaces and make an offset of 2.5mm and give the fillets required.

Extract the top walls and extrapolate them and make an offset of 2.5mm.

extract the side flanges and extrapolate them and make an offset of 2.5mm.

making the final trims and giving the fillets required to get the B surface.

Creation of C surface:
Extract the boundary make a sweep with reference to the surface.

trim with the B surface to get the C surface.

finally, the hole. extract the hole boundary and sweep it with reference to the surface and trim with the previous output to get the final result.

Go to the part design and select the body and make it into a solid body.

Draft Analysis:
There will be no draft analysis for this kind of design because of the tooling direction which is perpendicular to the surfaces. So Draft analysis cannot be performed on this design.
