                                                                               Design of armrest

Tooling axis:

Create a point and make intersect in the x-direction.

draw the lines on the boundary and bisect the two lines.

draw a line on the boundary and create a dummy tooling axis with 3 degrees and bisect the two lines to get the tooling axis. 

Creation of B surface:

Extract the walls and extrapolate them

trim them and make an offset of 2.5mm.

extract the top surface and join them.

now extrapolate them and make an offset of 2.5mm

extract the back surfaces.

offset and extrapolate them.

 make the trims required.

give the required fillets

extract the small curvature.

create  a line and sweep the line along the surface 

making offset and trimming with the other surfaces gives us B surface.

Creation of C surface:

select the boundary and make a sweep.

In the same way, extract the other boundary curves and make them smooth curves and sweep them.

extrapolate them join them to get the C surface.

make a join with A and B surfaces and trim to get the desired body.

Draft Analysis:

Go to the feature draft analysis and click on the surface and place the compass on the tooling axis for the draft direction.

We have some errors where the red color is shown. So to avoid that we have to make another draft analysis from the sliding axis.
