Week 9 - Attachment Feature Creation - Challenge 1

Aim :-

To Create an out featured rib on the centre of Console coin holder.

Procedure :-

First open coin holder using open command.

1. RIB CREATION :-

(i) To Create a rib first Draw Sketch on coin holder surface and pad the sketch by 12.5 mm with thickness 1mm.

(ii) Draft the rib by angle 0.5deg.

(iii) Give radius at edges of 0.25mm.

(iv) Now Create an intersection yx plane to determine rib root thickness and also creating a tritangent circle.

(v) Now measure the dimensions of ribs.

2. DRAFT ANALYSIS :-

After Rib creation now select Draft anasys tool and then enter 3deg or 2.98 deg angle after that select compass for tooling dirction and then place compass in tooling axis to check clearance in draft.

and then put 0.5deg value for rib cleance.

Result:-

Outer Feature Ribs are created.
