Creation Of Rib-

For the creation of rib, we have to follow design rules.

Rib Creation for the Coin Holder-

1) To construct Rib, Extract the bottom face of the coin holder.

2) Then use positioned sketch to draw Rib, dimensions of the sketch should be same as a rib.

3) Now the sketch we were drawn, extrude it and extrude dimensions should be as per design rules. (2.5*5=12.5mm)

4) Now thicken the rib by 1mm by switching in part design.(0.25*4=1mm)

5) According to design rules we have to give draft to the ribs.

6) After that we have to ensure that the thickness of top edge should not be less than 0.75 mm. If value is less than 0.75mm then material will not flow to the end.

7) Now give the fillet of 0.25mm value to sharp edges of rib.

8) Now go to surface design and use intersection command to intersect whole coin holder.

9) To check rib thickness, create tangent circle.

10) Root thickness of rib should not be more than 130% of thickness of part. (2.5*1.3=3.25).

11) For second rib, offset the first rib sketch by 6mm as per calculated with design rules.

12) After completion of both ribs, distance between them should not be more than 5 mm.
