Week- 8 - Solid meshing

Objective

To check for the geometrical errors and mesh the surfaces with the given 2D element Quality criterias for the given Rear view mirror component

Procedure

Topo and geometry cleanup are performed on the model

Mesh parameters, Quality criteria and perimeter length are given

Best Mesh option is used to create ortho tria mesh on the 3D surface as Shown below

Volume-> Define is used to perform 3D mesh and Tetra FEM type is used as shown

The proces is repeated for all parts with ortho trias for curved surfaces and normal trias for flat surfaces
