AIM: To perform meshing on the given pillar model with the following quality criteria.

PROCEDURE:

1)Firstly, the geometry clean up is performed to remove if any red and yellow edges on the component.

2)Now, midsurface is ectracted using the automidsurface command

3) 2D meshing can be perform on the midsurface. Part by part using the automesh command is performed.

4)Opposite trias on the surface has to ne eliminated for proper mesh flow. So, here opposite trias has been eliminated using the replace command.

5)Performing the similar operations, opposite trias can be eliminated.

6)Rebuild and smooth commands can be used to make proper mesh flow.

7)Finally, free edges, normals, quality checks and thickness operations are performed.

Conclusion:

Meshing for the given pillar is performed following the quality criteria.
