Week 8 - Challenge 5 - Door Trim Lower
DOOR TRIM
- firstly i have created tooling axis with respect to normal surface and tooling axis should take on flat surface for easy clearence from and core and cavity
- as we know we should firstly extract flat surface and create the point on the surface and take line normal to surface and this line is our tooling axis
- after we should analysis the draft angle along with tooling surface whether it is clear or not as shown in fig green has the draft angle of 3 deg and blue has 0 deg
- the create the B surface by offseting the class A surface about 2.5 mm as it given inthe challenge
- by offseting the class A we will get some surface or fillets will missing , so that we want to extract the along and adjacent side of missing surface and then we want to reomove the long and adjcent side and missing surface from the offseted class A surface
- extract and extrapolite the adjacent faces and trim
- by same way fill the remaing missing surface from the class B
- apply the fillets where ever it requried
- create the c surface along normal to surface and trim with the class B surface and join with class A
- check the if any gaps in the closed surface and fill the material in the closed surface in part work bench
- again we want to do the draft analysis for the closed final compenent
