Week 8 - Challenge 4 - Coin Holder Design

Aim

Create the Coin Holder plastic component through the given class A Surface.

Objective

we create the center hole coin holder plastic component to the given class A surface and we also perform draft analysis on this model.

PROCEDURE

Steps on the coin holder

1. we create a tooling axis:- The First extract the base create a point on it and insert the axis system at the point after that we draw the perpendicular line to the base passing through the point. This will be the tooling axis for the given model.

2. Then Draft analysis for this model.

for draft analysis, we have to follow some steps, click on the compass icon, drag it to the tooling axis and align it with the tooling axis. After that, we have to click on the option customize view parameter mode, select the material option and then click the surface.

3. Then Create the B Surface -

To create the B surface follow some steps like extract, untrim, extrapolate, and trim. Add the images below.

After that draw the outer surface
