Week 8 - Challenge 4 - Coin Holder Design
AIM:-
To perform draft analysis on coin holder component. To create class B and C surfaces with the help of class A surface.
Objective:-
By creating tooling we will perform a draft analysis on the coin holder final component .then with the help of class A we will create a class B surface by extracting class A and then with the help of the same class A surface we create a Class C surface . after completing this we will perform analysis on the final component.
Procedure:-
first, we check the whole component if there Is any type of opening that can create a problem after joining the whole class a surface. after visualizing the whole component. we will use join command and create our class a surface. then we will start looking for the best tooling direction. we will extract the base of the coin holder and using the point command to make a point then later create a line in z-direction .that line will be our main tooling axis.
Creation of tooling axis.

after creating the tooling axis. we will go for class b surface.
Thickness between class a and class b is 2.5mm.

then this is our final design for class b surface.

Now after creating class B we will move on to class C surface.
there are some few point we have to check for creation of class c . we have to check for the unnceary patches that will create over the boundary so we will use smooth curve command to smoothen it.

Now after creating c surface we will perform draft analsyis last component.

as you can see my design is not up to the mark so i will contact to the CAS department to look into it for what is the main reason this problem has occurred . we considered all the design parameters and created our final output. but due to some error we didn't get this right.so we will work upon the whole component.
