Week 8 - Challenge 4 - Bumper
AIM:- To create the Bumper Plastic component through given class A surfcae.
Draft Analysis:-Draft analysis is required to check if a part has required draft or not.The draft analysis referes to a Tool that allows us to determine if we can remove the part we are designing from the tool being used to design it.Here, i uesed Analysis option, change the material view first and then I could perform Draft Analysis regarding tooling axis.
Here I have given thickness as 3mm.
Tooling Axis:- The Tooling Direction is basically the direction that the mold pulls apart.The mold is built in two seperate pieces,basically we have a Cavity side & Core Side.The Core pulls apart from the Cavity.
Here, I have used Normal To Surface Method. Firstly, I extracted one flat surface ,took one point and then took line normal to surface and created Tooling Axis.
