Week 8 - Challenge 4 - Bumper

BUMPER DESIGN

Aim:

To Create the Bumper Design From the Given Class A and Perform Draft Analysis On the Final solid Body.

Given Class A:

The given Class A is joined together to avoid patches in the class A surface.

Creation Of Tooling Axis & Draft Analysis On Class A:

A point is created on the class A surface and a line is created on through the point.

and Draft analysis is performed.

Creation Of Class B:

The Class A is offsetted 2.5 mm and there are some patches on the offsetted surface.

Taking Boundaries,Multi section Surface,Extrapolation,Multiple extract etc those patches are resolved.

Creation Of Class C and AC:

Class C is created by taking the boundary of Class A and taking the multiple extract of it and by using sweep.

And the class C is joined with A surface and AC surface is created.

Final Closed Body:

Final Solid Body:

Using close surface in part workbench the final plastic Body is Created.

Draft Analysis:

Conclusion:

The Bumper Plastic Component is created from Class A and Draft analysis Is performed.
