Week 8 - Challenge 3 - Coin Holder Design
AIM: Make a model (COIN HOLDER) from the provided class A surface.
Objective: The main aim of this challenge is to understand the given class A surface for 'Coin Holder' and create class B & class C surfaces from the class A surface by using closed body surface commands.
CLASS A SURFACE :

TOOLING AXIS :
- For the tooling axis, we created a point on the base surface and took an axis system on it.

- After that, we took an intersection on the YZ plane.

- We have just created the line on that point because the boundaries are perpendicular to the intersection line.
- After that, we have our tooling axis.

CLASS B SURFACE :
- we took the side part of the body and followed the steps like extract, untrim, and extrapolate it.

- Then after trimming it we got our first part.

- we have offset it inside of 2.5mm as per our requirements.
- We have given our fillets according to the class A surface.

- The same procedure is followed for the other parts also of the class B surface.

- The upper part of the class B surface.

OUTER FLANGE :

- Final CLASS B SURFACE (After trimming all the base, walls, upper wall, outer flange)

CLASS C SURFACE :
- For the class C surface, we have extracted the boundaries of the class A surface and swept them according to our requirements.

This is our final class C surface (After trimming with the class B surface)

for class B surface also check the boundaries should be smooth.

Closed body (after joining the class A, B and C surface)

After joining all the surfaces check the boundary, there should be no boundary there.

For thinking about the body we have used close surface function.
FINAL COIN HOLDER :

DRAFT ANALYSIS :
To perform draft analysis on a solid body, I used the 'featured draft analysis' command in the analysis toolbar.
- The colour bar in the draft analysis visualizes the GREEN and BLUE colours.
- The surface draft angle greater than 3deg is highlighted with green colour and the surface draft angle is less than 0deg will be highlighted with blue colour.

CONCLUSION :
We have created of Coin Holder with the given data.
