The tooling axis for this part was determined to be in the general direction of the Z axis based on the geometry of the class A surface. ny line on the Z axis is at an angle greater than 3 degrees from all four walls and the auxiliary surfaces of the coin holder while the base is perpendicular to it. Therefore a line perpendicular to the base was selected as the Tooling axis.
