Challenge

Week 8 - Challenge 2 - Switch Bezel Design

AIM:

The main aim is to create the Switch Bezel Plastic component through the given Class-A surface.

OBJECTIES:

To begin with, the tooling axis for the given Class-A Surface should be created meeting the requirements of the draft angle and at the end perform the Draft analysis on the model. By Taking the Thickness of the component to be 2.5 mm

GIVEN CLASS A SURFACE:

Next constructing tooling axix for direction for both x and y axis

created tooling axis in x axis by tking the line as 3 degrees from the surface angle

By bisecting the two axis we can obtaine the Main TOOLING AXIS

Next we created a Class B surface by extraplate and trim and extract command and we have filleted the edges.

Next class C surface is created

The final surface is obtained by combining the classA , Class B and Class C surface

The Thicken component is obtained by thickening the surface by given thickness as 2.5mm

Final Draft analysis on the obtained plastic component
