Week 8 - Challenge 2 - Base Bracket Design
First, I check the connectivity of the (Class A) Base Bracket Design. Click on the join command & boundary command to check, and to ensure that there is no gap between the surfaces.
After that,
Creation of Tooling Axis
First of all, create a point using the point command then using the line command to insert the line in the z-direction also create a plane.
after that go to the intersection command to intersect the plane which is created.
then using line command to draw the line in intersecting sketch then go to bisecting command to bisect the two line and the we got tooling axis.
TOOLING AXIS
CREATION OF CLASS B SURFACE
first select the CLASS A surface and go to the Extract command to extract the surface.
untrim the surface using untrim command
using extrapolate command to increase the surface
then trim the unwanted surface
then we have got final trimmed surface and then offset
Again, using the same procedure I have created another rib of the base bracket model.
Again, using the same procedure I have created another Base surface of the base bracket model.
then using trim command to trim the unwanted surface then provide some fillet then we have got CLASS B surface.
CLASS B SURFACE
CREATION OF CLASS C SURFACE
Using boundary command to create the boundary of class A surface
using sweep command to sweep the surface, then we got C surface
then join the CLASS A SURFACE and C SURFACE
After that trimmed the CLASS B SURFACE WITH join which I join class A & C SURFACE.
After that, I have made the solid component using close surface tool/

DRAFT ANALYSIS
Procedure to the draft analysis of fan cover
First, we have to customize the view parameter, I select the materials option, and go to the draft analysis command it will appear on the screen.
