Week 8 - Challenge 1 - Base Bracket Design

Aim :- To design the Base Bracket plastic component through the given Class-A surface.

OBJECTIVE:

1.To create a proper tooling direction.

2.To perform the daft analysis of the plastic component.

3.To design the base boacket plastic component by creat B and C surface using given A surface.

TOOLING DIRECTIONS:

The tooling axis direction in mold or core and cavity opens. The ejection of the partfrom mold depantson the draft. A zero dravt result is deficult or no ejection tue to shrinkage. it is recomend to 0.5 to 1 degree of the draft of non dtructural surface & 3to 5 degree of structuralsurface.

PROCEDE TO CREAT THE TOOLING AXIS USING THE BISECTIN METHORD:-

FOLLOWING THE CLASS A SURFACE PROCED TO CREAT THE PLASTIC COMPONENT.

Create the point inn the class A surface.its help to creat dummy axis of the surface.

CREAT THE PLANE IN THE SURFACE A

GET THE INDERSECTING USING THE PLANE. IT IS HELP TO CREAT THE BISECTING LINE.

USING THE YZ PLANE AND INDERSECTING LINE TO CREAT THE 2 SIDE FACE LINES. AND USE THE SIDE LINES TO CREAT THE BISECTING LINE.

DRAFT ANALYSIS

DRAFT IS ANALYSING TO THE SURFACE A AND TOOLING AXIS.ITS ANALYSING UNEDR THE RUNNING POINT. USE THE COMPUS TO DEFINRE THE NEW DRAFT DIRECTION.

CLASS B SURFACE

CLASS SURFACE IS CREATED IN THE GIVEN SLASS A SURFACE CATPART

CLASS C SURFACE

CLASS C SURFACE ALSO SREATED IN THE CLASS A SURFACE

JOIN CLASS A&C SURFACES

FINEL JOIN

ALREADY JOIN THE CLASS A& C SURFACES IS ALSO JOIN TO THE CLASS B SURFACE TO GET THE FINEL OUTPUT OF THE BASE BROCKET PLASTIC COMPONENT.

SOLID CAT PART

THE FINEL JOIN IS DON TO CHANG THETO PART WORK BENCH TO GET THE SPLID CATPART.

FINEL ANALYSING

FINALY ONECE ANALYSE THE SURFACE TO CLARIFIDE TO THE CORREST THICKNES AND ANGLES TO GO TO MOLD .
