Week 8 - Challenge 1 - Base Bracket Design

Tooling Axis Creation: -

1. Initially the intersection of the YZ-plane is taken with the class-A surface.
2. By referencing inclined intersected lines, I have drawn two lines.
3. Then draw the bisecting line with the help of these two lines.
4. Named this bisecting line Tolling Axis.

Draft Analysis: -

Class-A Surface:

1. Initially I selected the material mode for the class-A surface.
2. Then I went to Analysis-->Feature Draft Analysis and Performed the Draft Analysis.
3. In that I used the compass to define the draft direction.
4. And I placed the compass on the Tooling Axis.

Plastic Body:

For the Plastic body, I have performed the same process. The only care we should have to take for the Class-C Surface is that it should have a 3 degrees draft angle from the Normal to the cavity base.
