Drafting provides angles or tapers on product features such as walls, ribs that lies parallel to the direction of release fom the mold which eases part rejection, nominal draft angle of a body is 3

In this exercise Drafting analysis is done on the class A surface and the solid body,

1. In Class A surface we use the boundary of the top surface to create a tool axis upon which draft analysis is carried out, the draft analysis option is applied and the axis of the compass is adjusted to the tool axis and the body shows green color showing it is in nominal condition.

2. In the solid surface the same tool axis is used to carry out the drafting analysis and the body is showed to be in nominal condition.

Tooling Axis done by bisecting method

Tooling axis is done by creating a boundary of the class A surface and extending the side lines with drawing a central axis and by using bisecting lines with respect to these.
