Week 8-3D Tetra Meshing Challenge
Objective: to generate 3D mesh by methods as told in problem statement.
Procedure:
1. First we import model 1, delete solids in it.
2. we do a little cleaning up of geometry, and then give shot mesh to the component, 2d shell mesh.
3. In the tetra mesh section we select tria and quad options and mesh. This generated 3d tet mesh under quad skin. and then finally check for tet collapses and clear them by isolating failed elements and meshing them with its adjacent layers of elements.
4. Similarly for model 2 and three R trias meshing is performed according to the element size mentioned in the question and yet collapse are checked and cleared. In model three there was few geometry cleanups that was needed since two faces were intersecting and 3ds could not be generated.
5. If any elements now fail are, cleared by manual movements of nodes.
