Week 12:Project-1-Meshing of Door Inner Panel Challenge
Objective: Aim of the project is to extract mid-surface manually by understanding the cad model and doing meshing on it.
Procedure:
1. First we import the cad file and under the geometry for a while.
2. Then using skin offset extract we extract mid surface for the cad model.
3. we generate a free line to model ribs on this mid-surface later. Places, where mid-surface extraction has not happened, were offset appropriately, and geometry cleanup was performed manually to create a perfect mid surface.
4. Then after mid-surface creation, surfaces are appropriately trimmed and later created to represent ribs.
5. Now, we start meshing, but before that, we do appropriate cuts on it and generate mesh flow better.
6. Criteria file is set according to the question and meshing is performed. we have to make sure that there is no tria on the ribs
7. We do all quality checks as asked in the problem statement. Next, we also check for free edges, normals, and duplicates.
8. Then we apply property and material to it mid surfaces carefully one by one
