Now considering vehicle parameters from the following figure, and loading it in workspace.

We have considered HWFET drive cycle as desired speed.

Simulating the model for 598 seconds we get the following result.

Case 1

When the gradeablity is 10 degree.

Case 2

When gradeability is 0.

We see that the velocity of the vehicle increases when running on flat surface and decreases when running on a slope.

Hence we have created the model.
