Week 6 - Creating connection for Rear door
week 6
1. Firtly export the model to Ansa
2. check the geometry clean up
3. Using topo element geometry breakup.
4. Assign the mesh and quality criterio
5. Find the necessary connection such as bolt, bush coonection that are required to assign.
6. Creat a 3d point in bolt connection in connection manager.
7. For bolt coonection in nastran element RBE2 connection is used its a rigid body connection type.
8. Select the peripheral nodes for RBE2 connection.
9. Follow the similar method for the selection of of rbe2 connection where ever bolts are envolved.
10. For door handle use rbe2 connection for both the centre nodes, that are indidvidually selected.
11. At the centre of door handle mass for door handle is required to assign .
12. In the elemts section using connection m1 assign mass value of 100 gram to the centre of both rbe2 connection
13. As for window of the door bush connection is to be assign
14. First project the peripheral curve of the window.
15. Using convert 3d curve option generate a 3d curve around peripheral boundary of door window
16. Now go to connection manager and select the curve, for this using RBE2 bush RBE2 Connection assign it.
17. slection P1 BY SHIFT AND QUESTION MARK button press and aloot p1 and p2.
18. Provide spacing value of 10.
19. Assign property id to bush .
20. Allot search distance value to 50 and click ok.
21. Repeat same process for bush connection for other boundary connection of window.
22. Hence all the connections are assign to the door and window.
