Week 6 - Creating connection for Rear door

AIM: For the given Rear door FE model, Create and Apply different PIDs for different components. Connections for the front door by using ANSA.

PROCEDURE: 

1. Importing the model and Setting up different PID for the components. 

2. Creating CoG using [ Points>On CoG] and then converting into bolt conntection. Using connection manager to create a proper connection

3.Creating Bushing inbetween glass and door to reduce thermal transfer and also orienting the bushing to the cord. 

4. creating a spotweld 

5. Giving the door connection for opening and closing with single dof (ie) only y axis is free to move and all others are arrested.

6. Creating connection for door handle and giving a concentrated mass 

Conclusion:

From this exercise learnt how to do connections for a door using ANSA.
