Week 5 Sphere pressing on a plate

OBJECTIVE:

To find the plastic deformation of the structural steel non linear plate by pressing with the sphere 4mm downwards.

MATERIALS USED:

For the sphere used structural steel and the plate used structural steel non linear material.

SIMULATION AND RESULTS:

The total plastic deformation is 0.32mm on the plate by the sphere.
