Week- 5 - Solid meshing

Aim- To learn to to solid mesh for a rear view mirror.

Procedure-

1. First we import the model and then we analyse the pids in it.

2. then we check for any topological errors and also do a geometric check to finalize that cad is a closed volume.

3. we jump onto mesh panel and then add length to all the cons according to directions mentioned in the question. then we apply mesh parameters and quality criteria for shell and solid elements.

4. Then we mesh all the parts individulally making sure that plane parts are meshed with tria elements and feature are meshed with ortho tria elements.

5. then from the volume option we create a volume by selecting shell elements and from list we remesh them to generate tetras.

6. Tet collapsed elements are isolated and meshed along with their neighbour 1st level elemts and this recurring process is repeated with increasing level of neighbour elements untill all tet colapsed elements are cleared.
