Week - 5 - Modelling Spotwelds
AIM:
- To model spotwelds for the given assembly of parts and run a crash test.
- The model spotwelds using beam elements and solid elements separately.
- To compare the axial and shear force among beam and solid elements.
DELIVERABLES:
- Input .k file and output files (d3plot, glstat, swforc) attached
- Animation of the final simulation attached
- Axial and Shear force generated in the welds.
- Acceleration plot of a node in the middle of the part.
ACCELERATION FOR NODE IN SOLID WELD ELEMENTS:
- Plot of all energies (total, internal, kinetic)
