Week 5 Challenge
1. Create new DGN file for horizontal geometry. Draw tangent lines with various methods. Insert curves in between them as well at the ends. Apply feature definitions to all these elements.
2. Create a square of 500’ side with fillets at 2 ends and chamfer at other two. Make complex. Offset this shape inside 5’ and outside 20’. Apply 3 different feature definitions for each of these shapes.
3. Create any point featured element along the outmost shape by point tools.
Q-1 : HORIZONTAL GEOMETRY :
Create a dgn file named as "HORIZONTAL GEOMETRY" with 2D SEED > Click on line between points > Draw four lines > Click on Arc Between Elements > Simple arc > Locate first line and second line to locate curves > Set the radius and trim both > Line is ready with curves > Click on complex geometry > Accepet complex in continue zone > Line is made complex > Click on Standards > Set the Feature Definations > Locate the elements > Set the Feature Definations as Geom_Baseline_Driveyway > Feature defination is set.
Q-2 : CREATE A SQUARE :
Click on lines > Line between points > From lines, we created a square of 500' > Click Arc between Elements > Simple Arc > Select two line of radius and trim both > Repeat this process for another corner.
Click on lines > Chamfer between points > Select the lines > Install offset > Select the second line and again install the offset > Give the approach length as well as exit length and trim > Chamfer is install.
Click on complex geometry > Complex by Elements > Click on line > Geometry is complexed > Click on offset and tapers > Set the offset > Select the element > Select the inside/outside and do left click > Offset install.
Click on Standards > Set the Feature Defination > Select Feature type > Select Feature Defination > Click on element > Right click > Above procedure is repeated for another two element > Select three different feature line for different elements.
Q-3 : POINT FEATURED ELEMENT :
Click on points > Equal Space Points > Select all the given option > Points are installed.
