Week-4 Challenge WOT Condition Part-2

Mapped

- Model uses a set of steady-state lookup tables to characterize engine performance.

- The tables provide overall engine characteristics, including actual torque, fuel flow rate, BSFC, and engine-out exhaust emissions.

Dynamic

- Model decomposes the engine behavior into engine characteristics that are separated into lower-level components. By combining components in this way, the models capture the dynamic effects.

Q2)

MPG = (Mileage B - Mileage A)÷Gallons.

  • Subtract Mileage A from Mileage B. This will give you the number of miles you drove since your last fill-up.
  • Divide your answer by the number of gallons (Gallons B) it took to fill up your tank. This will give you your car's MPG.

Q3) if we change the velocity and grade in environment block once we increase the value in grade then velocity of the vehicle will decrease and required torque will increase when we decrease in value of grade then velocity will increase and required torque will decrease as compare to increase in value of the grade.

Q4) in both results we see the velocity performance of the HEV is more as compare to the EV vehicle and the motor speed of and the efficiency of the EV is the more as compare to HEV and the motor torque is the more constant as compare to the HEV
